The greatest investment or improvement that a couple can make to their relationship is to improve their communication skills. Communication and understanding are critical to a healthy relationship.

Miscommunication or non-communication and misunderstanding are usually major factors or culprits in relational confusion, chaos and breakups.

Therefore, improve your communication skills and improve your relationship.

Proverbs 18: 21,

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

James 3:6-8,

6And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

Prayer

Lord, help me to have healthy communication with those whom I am in relationship with. Help me to be clear and concise as well as be able to hear, understand and be understood. Minimize miscommunication and misunderstandings in my life and relationship.

This I ask, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
