Relationship Tip: Don’t Be Greedy

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:16

Momma use to always say, don’t let you eyes be bigger than your stomach!

Everything you see or desire is not to be driven or possessed.   It’s not that God doesn’t want us to have things or possessions.  It’s just that he doesn’t want the things to possess or control us!

The best way to discern if what you see you are to pursue is to pray about it.  Seek God will and wait for God’s guidance and direction.

Until then exercise Godly temperance.  Control your wants and desires… Or they will control you.
