CMBC Heating And Cooling Appeal Update

Dear Friend,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving!
As you know, on April 2, 2016 both of our roof top furnace and air conditioning units went out at the same time. The units are 20 plus years old and we were constantly repairing the units to keep them functional. Currently, we have no heat or air in the sanctuary. To heat the sanctuary for worship, we have been using space heaters. This summer, we had fans and doors open during our worship service.
We have received several estimates and have raised some money, but it will take an additional $15,000 to reach our goal to replace the units. We need your help.
About 1 month ago, I along with our leaders and several members of our congregation pledged to give $250.00 towards this goal and the replacement of the units. To date we have raised $4260.00 towards this effort. Thank you.
I am asking for your prayers and financial support for our church, The Concord Missionary Baptist Church (CMBC), located at 6319 S. Kimbark Ave, Chicago, IL. 60637
We are about $10,000.00 short of our goal and desperately need your help to be successful. We are asking for a donation (big or small) by this coming Sunday, November 27, 2016.
