Put Down Those Stones is a 30-day devotional guide and journey to forgiveness, written and edited by Pastor and Author Dr. Kenneth D. Phelps.  Within the book Dr. Phelps uses the metaphor of a journey to illustrates forgiveness as a long road where reconciliation, wholeness, peace, and restoration become destination points along the way.

 

It is Dr. Phelps’ hope and prayer that the reader of this devotional, will know and experience the joy and peace that only forgiveness can bring. And ultimately become a minister of reconciliation.

BIO:

Dr. Kenneth D. Phelps is the Senior Pastor of the Concord MB Church in Chicago, IL and  Director of Concord Community Organization.  He is also the President / CEO of Imani Faith Productions and Imani Writers Cohort.  Married for thirty-three years to Veneeta B. Phelps, Dr. Kenneth D. Phelps is the father of three beautiful children who are his pride and joy: Kenneth, Morgan, and David. He is a grandfather to Ty Solorio, Kalissa Destiny Harlan and Adriel Harlan.

 

Dr. Phelps holds a B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Wartburg College, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary.
